Advantage Rent a Car

Partnered for the second time with Eagle Travel Systems, Planet Telex designed and built this online reservation system. Building on the framework we began for EagleRider, we were able to develop a solution from the ground up in about three months of development. Like EagleRider, this was a DotNetNuke based website which we enhanced with our reservation engine controls with jQuery enhanced interfaces. The site booked the reservations automatically with their back-end system, Magic in real time. Unfortunately, Advantage filed for bankruptcy shortly after the site was launched and was purchased by Hertz which migrated the site to their infrastructure. Though only live for about 3 months, the redesigned site outperformed its predecessor in reservation conversions, speed, and search engine optimization.
