Multi-Touch Application Development

Starting with our Microsoft Surface computer, Planet Telex has begun developing multi-touch applications. Multi-touch devices are entering the marketplace in all shapes and sizes, but they all require a new, more tactile approach to human-computer interaction. Some technologies, like the Microsoft Surface can even respond to different objects placed on its surface.

We have recently begun a new product line for Microsoft Surface, the inTouch UI. This is a tactile application for real estate sales centers that allows you to browse and search floor plans and capture potential buyer’s contact information on the Microsoft Surface. This data is sent to a web service, and can be accessed securely via a simple web interface and integrated with other systems like Salesforce.com.
