The Executive Team
Rob Dixon is a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Planet Telex, Inc.
After co-founding Planet Telex, Inc. in 2003, Rob Dixon had to earn enough money to pursue his own dreams. He was an Engineering Manager at the Indigio Group most notably in charge of continuing development on the Denver Newspaper Agencies ongoing work on YourHub.com until he left the company in 2006. Rob has over 10 years in both the software and web development industries. In 2006 Rob was able to return to his company and follow his entrepreneurial spirit. As CEO of the company Rob is passionate in everything from the smallest detail to his next "big idea".
Laura Ling is Chief Operations Officer and co-owner of Planet Telex, Inc.
Before joining Planet Telex, Inc., Laura was a Director of Client Services at Indigio Group, an Interactive Agency located in Denver, CO and prior to that an Engineering Manager. At Indigio, Laura oversaw the project management and engineering development of one of Indigio’s largest clients. Laura’s focus is on the establishment and optimization of day-to-day operations and also to contribute to design and development. Laura has over 8 years experience in both the software and web application development industries. Laura’s strengths lie in managing client accounts and attention to business detail as well as being extremely flexible in her daily job description.
Dan Hansen is Chief Technology Officer of Planet Telex, Inc.
A co-founder of Planet Telex, Dan left in 2004 to become the director of development at Beatport.com. Returning in 2009, Dan is a true asset to Planet Telex being a technology enthusiast with an entrepreneurial spirit. His expertise is in Java and PHP-based application development; applied knowledge of object-oriented design, hands-on experience with related tools, libraries, and practices, fluency in applying design patterns and unit testing. Interested in working for an energetic well, established company, applying emerging Java technologies in an Enterprise level architecture.
